Medical Claims Processing – Certificate Program
Prepare for a specialty field that continues to expand. These courses are designed to develop skills used in theory and practice of CPT (procedure codes), ICD-9-CM (diagnoses codes), and HCPCS codes for medical outpatient billing. In addition to coding procedures, students learn billing software programs, claims reimbursement, and medical-related software for data protection and data transmission. Students completing these courses are prepared for various positions within the health care industry.

Computer based business skills – Certificate Program
To start a career in a professional office, you need the right skills. Computer Based Business Skills (CBBS) Courses will prepare individuals for a career as an entry-level office professional in just a few short weeks.
Larson Training Centers, Inc. Computer Based Business Skills Courses teach a combination of clerical and computer training, for the student to obtain a diverse skill set. In particular, students will receive a comprehensive curriculum in Keyboarding; 10-key / Business Math; Windows operating systems, Manual and Computerized Accounting including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Graduates who have successfully completed CBBS courses will often work in office environments where they will perform routine clerical tasks (e.g., word processing, database management); as well as arranging conference calls and meetings; conduct research; prepare reports and other administrative duties. Graduate students will have opportunities to become Bookkeepers; Accounting Clerks; Receptionists; Communications Operators; Human Resources Assistants; Data Entry Technicians; and other office and administrative support workers.
